How to order

Please use our Order Forms listed under «Products» and specify the catalogue number, the chemical name and the quantity.

Terms and conditions of sale

General terms are EXW (Ex Works), CaroteNature Logistics Hub, 3072 Ostermundigen, Switzerland. On request CaroteNature offers DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid).

Payment terms are 30 days net. For delayed payment CaroteNature reserves the right to charge 1% per month. Payments are requested according to the issued invoice. Reference currency is CHF (Swiss Franc). On request CaroteNature offers invoices in EUR or USD applying the daily foreign exchange rate. The customer may pay by wire transfer (bank charges to be covered by the customer), by bank cheque to our business address or by credit card (Master or Visa card).

Prices are subject to change. All orders (DDU) are insured at the buyer’s expense. Shipping charges (DDU) and a handling fee of CHF 25.00 per shipment will be added to the invoice. Local customs and logistic handling fees, import duties and local VAT have to be covered by the customer.

Every shipment comes with a Safety Data Sheet (SDS, also named MSDS) with all the relevant data. A Data Sheet (DS) is also provided for each lot of carotenoid delivered. This contains the trivial and semi-systematic names, the molecular weight and structural formula, together with analytical data determined for the actual lot, namely the UV/Vis spectrum (as a figure) with the absorption maxima, and the HPLC chromatogram (as a figure), with the purity determined, based on % area. In addition, the A1%1cm value and melting point are given, either taken from the Handbook of the series Carotenoids or determined by our own measurement.

By placing a definite order the customer is accepting our “Terms and conditions” of sale.

Liability

Some of the chemicals listed might be hazardous, and they should be handled only by qualified individuals trained in laboratory procedure. The information and data given in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS), the Data Sheet (DS) and the Price List are correct to the best of our knowledge, but the accuracy is not guaranteed. CaroteNature will not be responsible for any loss or damage involving the use of our chemicals or products beyond the purchase price. No returns are accepted without prior written authorization, unless we made an error in shipment.

The listing of any products in our catalogue and price list does not imply the absence of patents, and does not constitute license under any existing or pending patent. We are not responsible for any patent infringement resulting from the use of our products.

Use of our chemicals

All compounds listed on the «Products»-Page are for research and development purposes only. They may not be used as drugs, food additives, cosmetics, household chemicals, or for any other non-laboratory purpose.

Period of delivery will be given upon receipt of an inquiry or order.
